The top players always kill 20 people early and 5 of the last 10 people. I was like wtf bro you can't finish the game off who cares if you got 20 kills if you can't kill the people who play smart or even just a camper. I remember it was p2 or 3 right? There was so many people complaining that they had top 20 games and had 20 kills in those games and they weren't ranked higher then like plat or something. Yea see I loved the old system but hated that the early kills just still made it to easy to look better then they were. Just give a real ranking system to play with and rank up with and people will play and rank up!

Start there and build a ranking system based on time spent alive, kills, wins, weapon hit %, stuff like that should go all in for a pure ranking score not just hey I got a 30 kill game from killing 20 people who dropped PV and there computers crashed so I got 10+ free kills!. That would be how I'd set up a base system to judge anyways. Then you would have the tier of elite killers and the tier of elite winners. Pretty much this would promote the killers to kill early and really promote winning the most. Killing the 180-6th player gives = 1000 points Killing the 5th place player gives = 2500 points Killing the 4th place player gives = 5,000 points Killing the 3rd place player gives = 10,000 points Killing the 2nd place player gives = 50,000 points I would say something like this would make more sense to me. I'll always be a fan of the last kill should give you double the points even in a ranking system getting the last kill of a game should ALWAYS be what maters most. Because you can drop in and kill new players so easy to get a 10+ kill game, but it's 100000x's hard to kill that last person when your heart is racing and the game is on the line. I will also always believe when you kill somebody should mater and not all kills should give the same points. I'll always be a fan of having like a elite class ranking for people who can drop 20+ kill games but it shouldn't be much more then just bragging rights maybe a special banner or something.

The game was fun when it promoted just winning even if just winning with one kill. You just nailed it! The number 1 reason I stopped playing h1z1 was when the kills became the main reason to play. If you're not a god, you shouldn't feel like one. Making it easier to learn is the only thing they should do for new people. It's already more accessible than ever, but in a way that doesn't fuck with the core of the game. People don't even have to play matches to learn the combat. And getting shit on by better people is all part of the learning experience. The fact is, h1z1 should never cater to the casual crowd. I don't mind getting shit on by someone better than me, and with these recoil changes, I feel like when I die, I actually got out aimed. The game loses all sense of fun for them.

(That's assuming we could eventually have enough of a player base to even entertain this sort of idea) Granted, the game would be a lot more fun and a lot easier for brand new people if they only went against new people, but what about the royalties who have to fight royalties every fight. They overcame it.Įven now, shitty people can still get wins. They dealt with the same shit as everyone else. The royalties played a lot and got good at the game. Elo works when you need 12 people of similar rating, but not 100, let alone 150. Matches won't be full, queue times will be long.īattle royale is about sticking a bunch of people in a ring and fighting to the death. Who else is going to compete? The royalties are going to quit. Ok, try to set up a fair elo for eryc to play with.
